Meet The Team

Dr. Benjamin Yang graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Dentistry (Honours) in 2008 after completing a Bachelor of Medical Science (Honours) at the University of New South Wales. Ben enjoys helping and assisting nervous patients of all ages to feel more comfortable and relaxed at the clinic. His gentle and reassuring nature encourages patients to continually upkeep their dental health in between visits.

Ben’s utmost priority is familiarity and knowledge of the latest dental technologies and techniques. He continues his education through ongoing training in the fields of restorative dentistry, orthodontics, endodontics, dental implants and cosmetic dentistry. Ben believes dentistry combines the best of art and science, both of which he enjoys. Outside of dentistry Ben loves playing baseball, following rugby union and spending time with family and friends.

Ben is available at Gentle Care Dentistry by appointment on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Dr Yan Jun Li graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2015 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. Known for a gentle and caring approach, Dr Li is committed to creating a comfortable and positive experience for patients of all ages - with a particular interest in general restorative and family dentistry. She understands that visiting the dentist can sometimes feel overwhelming, and takes the time to carefully explain all procedures and treatment options ensuring patients feel informed and confident in their care.

Since 2019, Dr Li has also had the privilege of volunteering with the Cerebral Palsy Alliance, providing ongoing dental care and support to individuals with additional needs. Outside of dentistry, Dr Li enjoys spending quality time with her husband and their two cats, Charlie and Meow Ming.

Dr Yan Jun Li is fluent in English and Mandarin, and can understand conversational Cantonese. She is available at Gentle Care Dentistry by appointment on Wednesday, Thursday and alternate Fridays and Saturdays.

Toni is currently studying dentistry at the University of Sydney.  She has many years of experience as a dental assistant and enjoys making patients feel comfortable. In her spare time Toni enjoys reading and spending time with her dogs.

Patrice is currently completing Bachelor of Science and Advanced Studies in Psychology and Neuroscience at University of Sydney. Patrice enjoys accomodating patients and is excited to continue her career in neuropsychology. Beyond the clinic, Patrice loves going on hikes and listening to music.

Louisa is currently studying pharmacy at UNSW.

Tash is currently completing a Bachelor of Registered Nursing. She hopes to further her studies and work in the medical field eventually. Tasha enjoys making all patients feel welcome and always recieve patient centred care. Beyond the clinic, Tasha enjoys doing ballet and performing on stage. 

Livia is currently studying Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology) at the University of Sydney. Livia values helping patients feel relaxed in the chair. She can confidently speak conversational Chinese. Outside the clinic, Livia enjoys to dance and visiting cafés.
