Meet The Team

Dr. Benjamin Yang graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Dentistry (Honours) in 2008 after completing a Bachelor of Medical Science (Honours) at the University of New South Wales. Ben enjoys helping and assisting nervous patients of all ages to feel more comfortable and relaxed at the clinic. His gentle and reassuring nature encourages patients to continually upkeep their dental health in between visits.

Ben’s utmost priority is familiarity and knowledge of the latest dental technologies and techniques. He continues his education through ongoing training in the fields of restorative dentistry, orthodontics, endodontics, dental implants and cosmetic dentistry. Ben believes dentistry combines the best of art and science, both of which he enjoys. When he's not at work, Ben loves playing baseball and catching up on Netflix shows.

Ben is available at Gentle Care Dentistry by appointment on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Dr. Yan Jun Li graduated from the University of Adelaide with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. Yan Jun grew up in Sydney and since graduation, has returned back home and has been working in clinics throughout Sydney. She previously volunteered in Cambodia, providing dental treatment for children in Phnom Penh and Tanop.

Yan Jun has a gentle chair side manner and is passionate about providing quality, patient-centred care. She takes time to explain all procedures and is committed to providing a pleasant dental experience. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring Sydney’s many walking and hiking trails with friends and family.

Yan Jun is fluent in English and Mandarin, and can understand conversational Cantonese. She is available at Gentle Care Dentistry by appointment on Wednesday and alternate Saturdays.

Jordana graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Adv) majoring in Anatomy and Histology in 2019. An aspiring dentist, she is currently in her final year of the Doctor of Dental Medicine at the University of Sydney. She has spent time in rural Taiwan teaching English and can speak conversational Mandarin. Jordana enjoys making patients feel relaxed and welcome both chairside and at the front desk. In her free time, she can be found dancing, watching the latest tv shows or visiting new restaurants around Sydney.

Eva is currently completing a Bachelor of Registered Nursing having received her Certificate III in Health Services (Assisting in nursing work in acute care). Eva loves getting to know and helping all of our patients and is excited to continue her career in health. Eva loves reading, learning new things and has an adventurous spirit; she loves to travel and live an active lifestyle.

Shreya graduated with a Bachelor of Medical Science from Macquarie University in 2021 and is now studying a Bachelor of Medical Science (Honours) at UTS. Shreya would love a career in the healthcare field and intends to do additional study after completing her Honours degree. She is passionate about helping people and always strives to make patients feel happy and comfortable. Her favourite things to do include hanging out with her dog Jet, swimming, going to the beach and travel.

Cassie completed her Certificate III in Dental Assisting in 2018. She is passionate, friendly and loves to help others. Mandarin is Cassie’s native language; she can also speak English and understands conversational Cantonese. In her spare time, Cassie enjoys cooking, Zumba and outdoor activities.

Liv is currently studying a double degree in Law and Psychology at Macquarie University. She enjoys assisting our dentists and getting to know the patients. Her hobbies include spending time with her dog and going for runs to stay active. Liv hopes to become a barrister when she finishes her degree

Angie is currently studying a Bachelor of Social Science majoring in Psychology at Macquarie University. She is passionate about helping people and enjoys assisting patients to help them smile. She likes to keep active through bushwalking and her other hobbies include playing board games, baking, and spending time with her two dogs.

Millie is currently in the final semester of a Bachelor of Food Science and Human Nutrition at the University of Newcastle. Since joining Gentle Care Dentistry, Millie has enjoyed the aspect of patient interaction and customer service, as well as making connections between her nutrition coursework and dental health. She endeavours to make patients feel comfortable and assist dentists in any way she can. In her spare time, she likes to keep active with pilates and test different recipes she finds on social media. 

Toni is currently studying a Bachelor of Medical Science at the University of Sydney. She hopes to further her studies and work in the healthcare field eventually. She enjoys assisting patients and making them feel comfortable. In her spare time Toni enjoys reading and spending time with her dog.
